Terms of Service

Effective 29 April 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Ora, an AI-powered timesheet app for freelance consultants, operated by BlueBridge Ai (“we”, “us”) at oraconsultant.ai (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What Ora does

Ora helps freelance consultants log time, generate invoices, forecast revenue, and track payments across multiple clients and currencies. The AI capture feature parses natural-language descriptions into structured time entries. The Service is provided as a hosted web application.

Your account

You need to create an account to use Ora. When you do, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including by anyone you give access to (intentionally or otherwise).

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. The Service is intended for professional use, not for personal consumer time tracking.

Subscription and billing

Ora offers a Free tier and paid tiers (Plus, Pro, BYOK). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe in the currency listed on the pricing page. Pricing, features, and tier limits are described on oraconsultant.ai/pricing and may change with notice.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Account section. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, you keep access through that period, and you are not charged again.

Refunds. We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, or if there is a service issue that prevented you from using a paid tier you were billed for, contact us at support@bluebridge.ai and we will investigate. We may issue a discretionary refund in clear-error cases.

Price changes. We may change prices for new subscriptions at any time. For existing subscribers, we will give at least 30 days' notice before any price change applies to a renewal. You can cancel within that window to avoid the new price.

Acceptable use

When using Ora, please don't:

- Use the Service to violate any law or another person's rights.

- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source from the Service, except to the limited extent applicable law explicitly permits.

- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service to third parties as if it were your own product.

- Abuse the AI capture feature (automated bulk submissions, attempts to extract our prompts, etc.).

- Submit content that contains malware, illegal content, or third-party confidential information you don't have the right to share.

- Interfere with the Service, attempt unauthorized access to other users' data, or probe for security vulnerabilities outside a coordinated disclosure to us.

Your data, our service

You own your data. The time entries, client records, expected payments, invoice profiles, and any logos you upload remain yours. By using Ora, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that data solely to provide the Service to you.

We own the Service itself: the software, branding, interface design, and Ora-generated artifacts that aren't derived from your inputs. The marketing materials, this policy, and the application code remain our intellectual property.

AI features

The AI capture feature uses third-party large language models to interpret your input. We aim for high accuracy but cannot guarantee that the AI will correctly parse every sentence, currency, or rate. You are responsible for reviewing each entry before saving (the confirmation step exists for this reason). Don't submit confidential third-party information through AI capture if you wouldn't be comfortable having it processed by Anthropic under their privacy terms.

Invoices, taxes, and your obligations

Ora generates invoice PDFs and Word documents from the data you enter. You are responsible for the accuracy of every invoice, including tax treatment (VAT, sales tax, etc.), payment instructions, and legal compliance with your jurisdiction. Ora is a tool to assist with bookkeeping, not an accountant or tax advisor. Verify your figures before sending an invoice to a client.

Service availability

We aim to keep Ora running reliably and will work to minimize downtime. We do not, however, guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable during planned maintenance, in response to a security incident, or due to third-party infrastructure issues beyond our control. We do not offer a formal uptime SLA on any tier.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements, that AI parsing will always be accurate, or that the data you generate (invoices, reports, exports) will be error-free or appropriate for any particular use.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, business interruption, lost data, or reputational harm, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, in which case the limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against third-party claims arising from (a) your violation of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the Service, or (c) your content or invoices to the extent they cause a third-party dispute. We will indemnify you against third-party claims that the Service itself, used as intended, infringes the third party's intellectual property rights.

Termination

You can stop using Ora at any time by cancelling your subscription and (if you wish) deleting your account from Settings or by emailing us. Upon account deletion, your data is purged per the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, fail to pay fees, or where required by law. We will give you reasonable notice when practical and the chance to cure where appropriate.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising under or relating to these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Canada, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country require otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated version with a new effective date and notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
